בעילת מצוה

בְּעִילָהf. (בָּעַל) sexual intercourse. Keth.3a שויוה רבנן לבְעִילָתוֹ בְּעִילַת זנות the Rabbis (in this case) have declared his coition (by which he wanted to establish marriage), a mere act of prostitution (annulled his marriage), Ib. 73a; a. e. אין אדם עושה בעילתו בעילת זנות the presumption is that nobody wants to make his intercourse with a woman one of prostitution (but wants to make her his wife thereby).Ib. 4a בעילת מצוה the marital duty, i. e. first coition; frequ. ב׳ ראשונה.
